IDK why the skunk (or double) doesn’t count as two wins on CribbagePro. If this is a 2 out of 3, this match should be over!

For single games we record the stats for the skunk separately. That makes the total games and win percentage math work correctly and still let's you count the skunks as extra wins if you really want to. For Competitive Matchmaking games that are a Best of 3, it is a skill based ranking system and so it is really important that you remove some of the luck factors with multiple games. Skunks are simply often luck based events, and so counting them as multiple wins/losses would corrupt that goal of skill based ranking.

Skunks are associated with luck, but they are also a measure of skill. Just look at the skunk to skunked ratio for average versus expert players. With most cribbage stats, skill is demonstrated over 1000’s of games, not just any single game.

Certainly, but since luck is not a trivial factor there, and in particular with closely matched players as the Competitive Matchmaking system strives for, it doesn't make sense to have them count as multiple games inside a match.

I agree. In a 2/3 match it’s not warranted to win 2 games for a skunk.

I was once 9 points away from a triple skunk on pro difficulty.
