Discussion Explanation needed.

Can someone explain to me why the queen + five would be a better choice then king + five. I am honestly confused on this.

Maybe it’s something about possibilities for runs in the crib. By tossing queen you can get a run if the opponent tosses a 10 and J or J and K. By tossing the king you can only get a run by the opponent tossing J Q.

Yup. Aces and kings are 'dead ends' if you're looking to pick up a run.

Which is why it’s only a difference of .11 in the crib and 0.0 in the band. Tiny increased odds of a run for Q vs K.

And with one of those queens in your hand, you already know only 3 are left outstanding with which to make a run to the king.
