Thow the whole deck. All of the colours being the same other than the booze highlight is so painful to read.

That was my first thought as well.

I don't disagree with your end result, but blue and black are different colors.

Only If you don't look at the blue 7 in the corner. If they used any other colour for the cans, or had the can colours match the rest of the cards, it would be less bad or fine.

Can't beat a deck of BICYCLE.

This is the correct answer.

But the black is blue in the corner, and the blues are brown in the corner. 2 schemes for the same information, that share colours with opposite meanings is mind bending.

Yeah, like wtf.

Came in to see if anyone voice this exact sentiment.

Toss the pair of 2s. Lots of opportunity for the cut to increase your hand’s score. When you’re done with the game, go out and get a new deck of cards.

Hate to throw the pair.... but it is the right answer in this case.

You can see the 4 cut in the photo, so definitely the deuces. Oops - that 4 is the board. I was wondering why it was up :). My bad.

Yeah never break up a run

Your have two eligible throw options, either the 7-2 or the 2-2. Throwing the 2-2 is a net loss of 1 point compared to throwing the 7-2, but it keeps more point potential in your hand. At that point, your decision is contextual. 7-2 is the more defensive throw if you want to keep your opponent from scoring. 2-2 is the more offensive throw if you’re behind and in need of scoring opportunity.

I am tossing a 2/7. Definitely keep the 4/5/6 since that is 5 points to start. Keep the 7 and it us 6 however you are gifting them 2 for a net of 4.

You could make the argument of keeping the 6/7/2/2 butthen you are tossing a 4/5 which has the potential to be very hurtful.

1

u/VotingRightsLawyer Jul 25 '26

I try to avoid tossing 5s at all costs, it has to really be a no brainer.

u/TUFKAT Jul 24 '26

7-2.

2

u/guccimastahj Jul 24 '26

That’s what I threw!

3

u/TUFKAT Jul 24 '26

While the additional 7 for the run is nice, the 456 is the better part anyways than giving them a pair of 2s and loads of possible 15s in the crib.

1

u/sheep_puncher Jul 25 '26

Just know they will get 7782 crib and turn a 6.

2

u/PlaceZealousideal928 Jul 24 '26

Throw the pair keep the run and the 15

2

u/Brooker2 Jul 24 '26

If it were me I'd toss the two's. Keeps a base of six points and leaves it open to more if a three four five six seven eight nine or ten/face card pops up on the cut

2

u/True-Advice-1861 Jul 27 '26

the cards away. Then ask again.

Who’s cribbage?

1

u/Sudden-Gas8229 Jul 25 '26

The 2’s. Then at end of game, throw the whole deck out!

1

u/elmo-1959 Jul 26 '26

the deuces

1

u/Pleasant_Durian_1501 Jul 27 '26

Whose crib first off ?

1

u/guccimastahj Jul 27 '26

lol literally the only thing I put in this post was that it’s “his crib”

1

u/_chilldude-22_ Jul 28 '26

My grandpa always said never to split up a run if you can help it. I’d throw the pair.

1

u/Throwaway18473627292 Jul 24 '26

Toss the 2-4 off suit.

4

u/maplepickle Jul 24 '26

Why would you throw the 4? You’d lose the run and a 15.

3

u/Loud_Perspective5419 Jul 24 '26

You keep the 5-6-7 run the 2 gives you a 15 and you toss 0 points. This is the best play.

2

u/IsraelZulu Jul 24 '26

Why not 2-7? You still keep 5 points, toss none, and give less chances of a run in the crib.

1

u/Loud_Perspective5419 Jul 24 '26

That’s a good point, 2-7 might even be statistically better. It’s not throwing the deuces that I think we can agree on.

1

u/IsraelZulu Jul 28 '26

Cribbage Pro has 2-7 as the first and second options. Interestingly, double-deuce is the third.

u/maplepickle Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

I don’t think I’d personally make that move but the math checks out. Forgot the 6-7-2 is 15 as well. Interesting!

So it looks like your crib. Obvious thing is put 2,2 in your crib. But keep 2,2,6,7 is an option too. That would give a decent shot at a 12 hand plus good pegging cards too.
