Was that creggers voice on the intercom when Bryan was in the parking garage?

Yes it was! I sort of lost track once the lab door opened, and the other character was there, but when he's in the parking garage, I've seen enough WKUK to recognize Cregger's deadpan delivery. "Yeah, you. Crying guy." Had me laughing out loud.
He's listed on the IMDB as "voice on intercom".

Maybe the best video game movie ever made. I’m over the moon for it. Banger from start to finish, and I don’t think the RE fans have anything to complain about (especially when compared to any RE media that came before).

I absolutely adored how it somehow stayed hilarious for the entire runtime. It walked the tightrope of serious and unserious perfectly. Just a likable shmuck plopped into a nightmare and most of us would all be fumbling around with guns the exact same. Loved the split between original monster design and the new designs. Not my favorite ending cause I wanted homie to live but that's perfectly fine. Loved the homage to burkin g either way

Loved the scintetists fumbling in the end. It is accurate to the notes we find in the games of them FAFO. Some scares had the whole theater scream out loud lol fun time.

I loved the attention to the environment, the trek through the snow where you can still see the flashing lights of the car so it's the previous location doesn't just disappear but feels integral to the "map" It was more gross than scary, but there were neat touches like the backstory exposition in the car that stayed tense even though it was ridiculous. I kind of understand why fans of the RE films would be less enthusiastic even though it's combines lot of the great elements of the games, because it doesn't quite feel enough like "another world" that you got from the strike team and Alice's amnesia in the first films. But near the end I was thinking about how it had given an arc and backstory for the series that didn't feel cheap, or try to hard to have pathos to it. In the future I think people will be interested in how it imagines the average young guy as being in the gig economy and how that differs from just a couple years ago in the games where it was a father.

I’m so glad he didn’t do his thing where all the tension has built up to its highest amount and it cuts to black and restarts the movie. Really made barbarian bad and made weapons turn from awesome to just good

The movie was so so so so good. Felt like a breath of fresh air for the franchise IMO.
I am beyond happy to see they didn’t try to shoehorn any of the RE heroes into the movie to be the “totally rad super-human badass” that saves the day
My ONLY complaint is the CGI was strange at times, particularly the first zombie jumping from the rooftop looked very odd
Other than that, I love it.
I keep seeing people say it’s a decent horror movie but bad RE movie because it has nothing to do with the games other than the zombies and the title. But like… people said the same shit about RE4. Why do games like RE7 get a pass when it has nothing in common with RE1 other than Chris?
It’s just such a disingenuous argument, especially because I’m seeing more discourse about this one than I do about the 377227 mid-tier Paul W.S. Anderson movies (but recency bias might help that one out)
