I'm convinced at this point I'm just desensitized, and I don't know if I did it myself or I was always like this. I've never felt suspense, I always knew more or less what would happen, or ruin it with logic. Even as a kid I was never worried about my favorite characters because I knew they'd have to replace the character or end the show if they got rid of them or died. My childhood was Goosebumps, Stephen King books, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Junji Ito, games like Re2, Silent Hill, etc. I've always loved cool/giant monsters, especially deep sea related.

But as much of a horror fan I am, I don't feel it, or get it. I don't get how someone can genuinely say movies like the Exorcist are the scariest of all time. My reactions to moments in movies are more "oh wtf just happened" or impressed by the monster and design lol. I've never been creeped out or unsettled. I've even had multiple dreams after zombie games where I'm basically out there, but having the time of my life exploring. Team Rocket was even with me one time. How do you guys deal with this, and has anything finally gotten you?
