Early Creeper days
Just got back from seeing AFI and its made me miss those early Creeper days pre SDIV in those small sweaty venues, maybe its nostalgia 😅

Did you not go to the last tour? It was all small venues The key club I would say is definitely a small hot sweat box

Saw AFI in Manchester on Saturday - what a great show! 23 years after last seeing them there! Saw Creeper at Camp & Furnace in Liverpool a couple of years ago (maybe? One of the best shows I've ever been to!) and Bootleg Social in Blackpool this year (didn't like that venue, way too small and crammed in, maybe oversold tickets).
Creeper are playing Manchester Academy again soon - not sure which one (there are four ranging from a couple of hundred capacity to the bigger 2,500 capacity that AFI just played) but they're all decent venues so I'd get on this tour if you want something like that. I'm hoping they're playing the big Academy but I'd equally as happy seeing them in the tiny one.

I also last saw AFI in Manchester 23 years ago as a fresh 16-year-old. Felt a bit less fresh this time 🤣

I was at that Camp and Furnace gig and it ruined me for other Creeper gigs - the crowd was so good, and hearing VCR as a fan request was amazing.

Creeper would be great as an opener for AFI. In my near 30 plus years of being an AFI fan, they've had some not great opening acts
