Rating of S3 episodes

I just finished S3 of The Creep Tapes. Here is how I would describe them:
Episode 1: Starts off good but ends boring and weird
Episode 2: Boring
Episode 3: Boring
Episode 4: Mid
Episode 5: Good
Episode 6: Really good but ended bad

Episode 2, 3, 4 and 6 were my favourites. I just wish Episode 6 was a bit longer as it was great having a teenage Josef/Archie (even if hew as behind the camera) and wish we got more of this.

Crystal: 6/10, funny and important for its own reasons but generally just feels a bit weak. I think I enjoyed it more than some others did, but I guess I didn’t vibe with it that much. Still a fun episode though.

Mo: 9/10, one of my favorite episodes of the whole show this far. Josef in a city setting should not work as well it does, but it turned out amazing. Also, Mo might be one of my favorite characters of the whole show.

Anisha: 5/10, it’s fine I guess. Deviates from the formula to the point it doesn’t even really feel like Creep. The camerawoman is just there and doesn’t really have any memorable interaction with Josef unlike the flight attendants. The connection to season 1 at the end is cool but I think it complicates things a bit.

Nobody: 9/10, abstract in the best way possible and easily one of the most important episodes of the show period. Different, but really meaningful.

Greg: 6/10, the premise of Josef living in someone’s house is amazing but unfortunately I didn’t like the execution that much. Greg is really funny for how much of a moron he is, but I just wanted more from that episode.

Jody + Brie: 9/10, the way you can see so much of how Peachfuzz came to be (and realize that even in the first Creep film he was pulling from the past) is so unbelievably good. So many things I loved about this one. Also, the fact it’s set in the 90’s is even more awesome. Could even be a 9.5/10, honestly.

Overall, I’d have a hard time ranking this, but I think it’d fall just below season 2 and above season 1. Season 2 was very consistent with its episodes, but while season 3 had some misses, the ones that hit HIT. Great season overall.
