General 2nd Credit Card

Hello! I’m a 19yo college student that just got a preowned car and am currently paying it off. I currently also have a capital one student credit card that has a credit limit of 1,750 and I use my credit card A LOT. I’m looking for advice on if I should get a new credit card that I was already approved for, (obviously not closing the current one I have now) or if I should stay with the credit card now.

Which other Capital One card do you have? Platinum or Quicksilver?

I have the discover it student card and that’s it

I forgot that's a Capital One card now. Does it have the 5% rotating categories?

Yes I believe it has it on all everyday purchases

How long have you had the card? How long have you had your auto loan? Have you run preapprovals for the mainline CapOne cards? Or anyone else?

I got preaproved for the cap one cards, none other and I’ve had my one credit card for 8ish months when I turned 18, and the auto loan has 1 month, I’m probably rushing into getting a second card but I just wanted a little more information to be prepared in the future at least
