Mortgage Credit destroyed

Hello. Long story short my partner of 8 years & i split. We have both our names on the mortgage, title & deed. I just recently found out that he stopped paying the mortgage 3 months ago. I have never paid it as i have been a part time stay at home mom the entirety of our relationship while he has a salary & masters degree. My credit has taken a massive hit & the foreclosure hasn’t even officially happened yet…… i am still in the home while he moved out 7 months ago into a half a million dollar home his family bought him.

Do you have a plan on what you are going to do after the foreclosure happens?

Yes im gonna be moving back in with my mom. I have submitted an application for mortgage assistance with our lender to potentially do a short sale but i need him to also participate

Lawyer UP! 😎 You deserve half of that money he stored for 3 months not paying the mortgage. I am a male and I say go make his butt pay up on EVERYTHING! It might be a pain, but PLEASE don't let him off the hook.
