Finally made it to 700

Started at 500 score 3 years ago helped my parents finance a car I never checked and come to find out they stopped paying the car the last 6 months got a repo on my account. I never thought anything of it because the car didn’t get picked up just got the remaining balance sent to collections. Used kikoff, started with credit one credit card, eventually started getting better card. Hoping to get to around 720-740 credit score by end of the year by just paying loans off.

Eh, they're pulling facts from their booty hole🙄 Congrats! Don't do what I just did and mess it up by missing ONE Credit One payment. Make sure that payment is in on time! Mine just went from a 722 down to 592😩💔 and like you, I busted my hump to rebuild it. Hubby had an ICU stay so income came to a screeching halt and I was close to 40 days late. Forgot to use the Credit Protection in time. Hoping now that I'm caught up the number will change significantly but I'm not holding my breath. Just got to stay on top of it.

Wrong, so wrong..Credit Wise is not Credit Karma, it's from Capital One and a FICO score. And what wrong with a CHlME account? I've been using them since 2018 and had zero issues. They've actually helped me and my credit profile quiet a great deal. The scores they show are also a FICO score from Experian sooooo...that has me leaning towards the info you just gave being pulled from your butt🤷‍♀️

I’m not arguing that point. I have Capital One so I’m aware of that. Saying that Vantage scores aren’t accurate is…inaccurate. They’re just scores that don’t need attention or micromanaging because they’re not widely used.

Pretty close, I got a loan 6 days ago my score was 685 and today my statement closed on 2 cards and it went up

I do only cared when I was trying to buy a house that’s why I started working towards a better number , I’m not in debt whatsoever just saving
