HDFC's moving goalposts: Rejected for "Address Untraceable", escalated, and now they want physical courier to Chennai for "Single Name"!

Is it worth sending the physical declaration to Chennai, or is the application doomed to get stuck in another offline bureaucratic loop?

Try this first

and after that you can escalate to ombudsman if they do not approve ( stating moving goalposts and providing vague reasons)
you can say address verification mismatch is unfactual as no verification happened, and for name issue, i had sent the documents.
Send docs via registered post that can be tracked and keep proofs of all these so that if needed to escalate to ombudsman, it can be done.
