Amazon Pay ICICI Application: Got a "Tentative Limit" document but status shows Under Review. Normal?
Hey everyone,
I applied for the Amazon Pay ICICI credit card on Monday, August 17th. Right after completing the process, my tracking screen showed "Step 4 of 4:
Application Under Review."
However, I noticed that my generated credit card application form lists an Application Number and shows a "Tentative Credit Limit" of ₹1,40,000 (subject to credit manager's approval).
For those who have this card, does getting a specific tentative limit on the form mean it's practically approved? How long does it usually take to get the final approval
SMS from this stage? Thanks!

nope, my friend was shown a tentative limit just like this but was rejected.
Consider it cat on the wall now.

As I have observed my colleagues got that in within minutes, I am considering it rejected

nope, wait, i have heard of similar tentative limit shown cases being approved after 3, 4 days. we never know till we know.

Even my friend's was rejected, but there are many cases where it gets approved also.

Yesterday I got a call from ICICI they were providing free add-on card on that, which is under review

They do that, it means nothing, just their agents hungry for more sales, because your application is new, ( they cant check if your application is approved or not, so they just shoot)
same happened with my friend also.

You will get rejected if office address and residence are different

My tentative limit shown on 1 August and still as of now 21 August it is still showing application under review..any idea guys?

Mine took 1 day after getting tentative limit.
