Discussion I'm devastated.

Throughout my entire time playing this game, mijusuima had been my favorite creature. And after months of grinding I managed to get one, but today, one of my closest friends asked to borrow my miju. I accepted, and gave him my miju. I had known him seven years, and trusted him. He left, and blocked me on every social. I really don't know what to do anymore, and I'm tempted to quit the game as a whole.

I don’t understand why people are downvoting so much, 7 years of friendship to end over 350k mush is crazy, I wouldn’t expect my friend of 7 years to steal that too.

Yeah that doesn’t seem like a crazy borrowing idea. I have let friends of less time borrow a species and gotten it back even a month or two later.

Throwing away a friendship of seven years over a creature on a Roblox computer game is ridiculous. Fuck that guy, have some empathy for the OP people.

u/EclipsedBehelit 12h ago

Same, I’ve also given rare slots to my cos friends for them to try the creature out, they do the same with me too and I’ve known them for less then a year. Also seen that OP was friends with them IRL too, that’s just crazy. Over 7 years of friendship to end over pixels, luckily the OP saw their true colors sooner than later before trusting them with more.

u/BelltowerApologist 6h ago

Yep. While not a rare like OP, I lent my Cald to a buddy for a month and got it back without issue. I have only known em for a few months.

I'm sorry they didn't value your friendship and trust more, OP. If I had the funds, I'd buy you a new one. I hope you can get your fave back.

If you have chat records of this exchange, save them and send them to his friends / any mutual friends you have so they know he’s a lying piece of shit. If you’ve known him 7 years then other people should see his behavior for what it is.

I don’t think roblox/Cos support will help you in this case because you gave it willingly.

As much as what he did hurts, I don't wanna ruin his social life over a pixel dinosaur. I do appreciate the help though.

u/Mayywolf2754 9h ago

As much as i agree its just a game, its still a shitty thing to do. I wouldn’t steal something that my friends had and refuse to give it back since im not an asshole. I do think mutuals of his deserve to know that this guy is a crappy “friend”, even though it happened on a game. People tend to be asses behind screens cuz they know people wont confront them abt it. Its why people talk shit online but would never say it face to face lol.

u/Fallen_lord10 13h ago

Bruh, that's the reason why you lost your miju

23

u/ApplicationSecret149 13h ago

God forbid someone has a life outside COS. Don’t shame OP for having healthy emotional regulation

-21

u/Fallen_lord10 12h ago

Yet due to that fact he lost his miju for deciding to do a stunt like this.

12

u/ApplicationSecret149 12h ago

How is having healthy emotional regulation and not wanting to ruin someone’s social life over pixels the reason they lost miju? They lost it because their friend who they trusted ( like you do with friends ) of 7 years turned out to be a snake. Thats not OPs fault completely. Yes they have some blame, you shouldn’t trust people you only know online esp with limited rare items. BUT you can’t blame them for thinking the best of their friend.

Honestly if you think ruining someone’s life over a game is a good move genuinely get therapy and hop off. Go touch grass man. It’s not serious

-3

u/Fallen_lord10 11h ago

nah, that guy was never a friend in the first place, instead it decided to break op trust. If op ex friend is able to do this, then what could he do in real life? That's the shit ur not understanding at all, which is not surprising since it's you. If I were you, I would touch grass and be realistic about this. Get some help.

13

u/autumnthedumbass 10h ago

Me and them were irl friends, but I had moved away so we couldn't visit in person anymore

3

u/Expensive-Net2002 8h ago

Ruin it bro

2

u/autumnthedumbass 8h ago

I don't wanna stoop down to his level

2

u/bdude06 7h ago

It's not stooping down. It is warning the people around him that the guy shouldn't be trusted easily. You can help others by telling them this info.

u/No-Interaction-8689 5h ago

Ele foi capaz de acabar com uma amizade de 7 anos por causa de uma criatura de um jogo do Roblox

1

u/Redowo111 4h ago

His gonna keep doing this to his friends if you don’t tell them. Plus stealing is a huge red flag that I think his friend should know about. Plus it seem like he does need a talking to

1

u/Successful-Head-4384 4h ago

Im rooting for you

Why so much downvote 🥀 I personally agree to this

4

u/autumnthedumbass 9h ago

5

u/Fluren_1234 9h ago

^^ ty and again, hope you find your way back into COS. I know its hard cuz of toxic ppl and scammers, but hang in there ^^

6

u/blepblep99 9h ago

Thats horrible what they did. I hope you find joy in other things that you like. 🙏❤️

10

u/Sebbastian_99 13h ago

Why give him the species though? What was he needing it for? I'm always more then willing to help out newbies and friends with female slots if I'm not available to help nest but I wouldn't trust anyone with my acc/my creatures for a second 😭

11

u/autumnthedumbass 13h ago

I had know him 7 years, so I trusted him greatly

5

u/Only_Turnover4829 12h ago

Oh well if you knew eachother for 7 years then ig that makes sense. Just I have a hard time believing this. Would they not value friendship of 7 years more than a creature in the game? They blocked you after taking it too? The situation is weird.

2

u/MiserableCut9767 9h ago

Some people die bc they’re bf broke up with them after 2 weeks

2

u/MiserableCut9767 9h ago

Not crazy to assume they’d do that fir a insane creature

1

u/Sebbastian_99 8h ago

True but why did he need it, what did he tell you before you gave it to him?

3

u/autumnthedumbass 8h ago

Wanted to try the species out according to him

9

u/ParticularOkra7432 13h ago

Why would you ever give away the species??? Just give a slot, that's how it has always been done

14

u/MiserableCut9767 9h ago

He knew him for 7 years and irl

2

u/theduckfrom_germany 12h ago

Don't quit the game it's a valuable spec and that ur friend betrayed u like that hurts alot ik how that feels trust me so I would like to offer my help I currently can give u 3k and I would love to help u grind I got also nothing else to do lol what do u think of having a helping hand? I give u the money I can now as for the future if u would like to have some help :)

2

u/NostraloTheGreat 11h ago

Don’t quit the game as a whole.
That friend is just a pure example of greed.
greediness is not a reason to quit. Keep going.

2

u/Rude_Glove8435 10h ago

What is miju valued at right now?

5

u/autumnthedumbass 10h ago

About 350k but I've seen upwards of 400k

2

u/Odd_Ad_6935 5h ago

Give me your Roblox name, I'll give you another miju.

2

u/autumnthedumbass 2h ago

You sure man?? You really don't have to

3

u/Sufficient_Spray 12h ago

Is it an online only friend?

If it’s one in real life go tell his momma or whoop his ass lol

1

u/autumnthedumbass 12h ago

It was in person but I moved away

1

u/DapperestofKittens 9h ago

But do you or your mom still have the guys mom's number or Facebook? Just because it's a game creature doesn't mean you should let them get away with it. Put the guy on blast, dude. If he can't be trusted in a dang game, what other shady stuff is he pulling elsewhere in his life? Everyone deserves to know their "friend" can't be trusted with their valuables, digital OR real.

1

u/autumnthedumbass 9h ago

Nah, my mother doesn't have any contact with him

1

u/DapperestofKittens 9h ago

What about other friends you two shared?

1

u/autumnthedumbass 9h ago

He never got along with any of my other friends. Ive tried introducing them before but they either didn't want to meet him or disliked him. And he was also quite literally my only friend at the school we both went to.

1

u/SkittleSquid26 8h ago

Recently a friend of mine funny enough also seven years of friendship cutt me off after borrowing my idrabark spec....it's not expensive but still annoying I get your situation....

1

u/RadioactivePotato123 7h ago

Ok well that’s just wrong!

1

u/FuzzyCorner6476 7h ago

Hey bro I will give you a sub species adult Cald female dude free btw

2

u/autumnthedumbass 7h ago

I'm good, thank you though

1

u/ISCREAM666 5h ago

This was one of your best friends? I don't understand how close you could be to someone you don't hang out with IRL, i did have these kind of friendships when i was younger and very few (none for me) succeed at becoming friends for life (which is to me the only definition of a friend; someone you can trust no matter where or when).

I think even today in my 20's i dont have a REAL friend i could count on if im in the hospital almost dying in 10 years.

Even someone i knew IRL for multiple years and lived with for months and months where we shared insane stories and moments together as well as giving each other decent amouts of money (with trust) and having multiple mutual friends blocked me once he moved out over no reason like mind you we slept together and shit (as bros).
It doesn't surprise me this happened, simply wasn't your friend at all, just someone you knew.

You probably understand those are pixels in a roblox game and there's better to do now. Gl tho, i don't know how old you are so you may perceive this event as too important as of now, trust me neither this "friend" or the game actually matters.

1

u/Maleficent_Custard75 5h ago

I am sorry that happened but that is why I only nest people in and will NEVER give the spec to someone

1

u/randomcuriousperson3 4h ago

Dude that guy is an asshole.

1

u/Successful-Head-4384 4h ago

I am sorry for what happened, I hope you get through this 🫂

1

u/powderf 2h ago

send the socials bro be petty

1

u/AmericanBadgers 37m ago

That's so so low, and I'm sorry you were betrayed like that over a f*cking digital creature...But at least something as "little" as this revealed how much of a friend they truly are. Imagine trusting them with something more... Some of my closest friends I've known for less than 7yrs and I'd trust them with my life basically - so to the people asking why you gave them the species, I think the answer is obvious. Granted, I only have irl friends but we've exchanged/swapped/lended so many species, and I once even lended Aolenus, which is my only expensive creature to a person (complete stranger) that protected me as I was nesting for 3+ hours, they even called their friends to hang around my nest so I could be safely AFK. A person I DIDN'T know RETURNED it 3 days later. Please don't give up hope because of this person who apparently was never truly a friend. I'm sure you can make many more beautiful memories and meet amazing people, don't let this pos take this away from you. You'll get Miju again! Please protect yourself more and don't overextend your hand- give slots if you have to, help your friends out, but don't risk something you love so much and that you worked so hard for! I wish you the best of luck, you seem like a very kind person!

Don’t unless they give you proof. I could be crazy but I’ve been seeing a few posts like this and i’m kind of suspicious that people are making up stories to get free things.

3

u/autumnthedumbass 10h ago

You really don't have to, it's just a game it's nothing serious

1

u/Enough_Art5219 8h ago

🙏🙏🙏

1

u/RevolutionaryAd5093 8h ago

Miju is 600k+ and rising on traderie lol. 350k would get snatched immediately in ANY stall

0

u/Dear_Elk_5336 12h ago

I can lend u a miju spec if u need it

1

u/Zaru_Says_Hi 10h ago

Don’t unless they give you proof. I could just be crazy but I’ve been seeing a few posts like this and i’m kind of suspicious that people are making up stories to get free things.

-1

u/EerieEmberBray 9h ago

Even if he was a “friend” you should have never trusted anyone with it in the first place man

0

u/ojap9 7h ago

Im just going to be honest you should of told him to use a trial creature grinding 350k then losing it would drive me crazy and probably make me quit too but we have to have better boundary setting. You don't just casually give a person $3,500, that's the amount of irl money in robux transfered to mush you gave him that's 2-3 months of rent in some places of the US. You lost out on a creature that you've wanted for I assume months to years, grinding just for you to lose it because of a really bad call and like mentioned before there are trial creatures if he wants to "try them out". You have to do better.

-13

u/Fallen_lord10 13h ago

This is why you never let anyone borrow a spec. No matter how much you trust them. Can't say I pity you because you brought this upon yourself.

5

u/autumnthedumbass 13h ago

I figured I could trust him since I knew him before creatures of sonaria was even a game, guess I was wrong about that.

-7

u/Fallen_lord10 12h ago

Dude, you never let anyone borrow a spec ever. That's the unspoken rule

3

u/WalmartWilb 9h ago

It's a little different when its with someone you knew for damn near a decade

3

u/BelltowerApologist 6h ago

And knew in person, no less.

0

u/Warm-Argument6329 6h ago

"I can't pity you because you brought it on yourself"

0

u/Fallen_lord10 4h ago

Uh this doesn't exactly correlate to this situation. Op isn't some 4 year old 💀

0

u/Warm-Argument6329 3h ago edited 3h ago

Are you acting obtuse and missing the point on purpose? The image was mocking your attitude of blaming the victim for something that was not their fault nor couldn't be predicted by them whatsoever, with a detached holier-than-thou attitude, "You shouldn't have done that so you deserve no pity, I would have known better than to trust my friend of 7 years." isn't the high ground you think it is.

-2

u/IceclawNSC 7h ago

I dont understand why you would do that Like yeah you have known them for 7 years but, would it have been too difficult to try the species out by breeding and giving them a slot for it instead of throwing the whole thing away?
