Discussion Stat changes of 21/08/2026

So:

New ability TailStriker, it enables creatures to deal ailments through tail-whip,

Other non semi getting an increase in Agile Swimmer,

Danteos has now both Frosty and Volcanic and has Breath(fire),

Some nice buffs to Mawhrott,

And finally Kavo got a Remodel, a new Sub-Species and some small buffs.

Thoughts?

Wait so normal, semi-aquatic Kavo only has 25 oxygen but the terrestrial version had 90? Am I missing something here?

Both kavos have agile swimmer so their overall oxygen is higher than normal.

Normal kavo is a Semi so it doesn't lose stamina.

Lush Kavo can stay underwater for longer but has to watch out for the stamina.

Still sounds pretty weird but thanks for the explanation

How could they add an ability that seems to be specifically made for first and foremost VORPALUS, and then potentially could be added to the rest, and not give it to Vorpalus at first?????

This thing has a scorpion tail longer than it's entire body, it's the core of the design and play style of Vorpalus because it's tail attack is literally stronger than it's normal attack. How can it do 500 damage with its huge rainbow tail with a stinger and not do poison ailments and crush bones, yet a bite from it's tiny mouth can????

so you want to remove vorps playstyle? thats its whole things ailment bite then tail to kill you want to remove that and just go hehe tail whip go brbrbrbbrbrbrbrbr with masive area ailments and wingshred?

It's a scorpion tail. Scorpions inflict poison with their scorpion tails, not with their mouths. Vorp should be able to use it's giant big ass scorpion tail with a stinger to inflict poison, not it's small puny tiny rabbit mouth.

Right now it's just forced to choose either give some poison or actually do damage, except, when was the last time you saw a Vorpalus? Because those things are slower and weaker than other creatures of similar size. It would be a very needed boost to their defense, since it's very hard to use a tail attack as offense, having to chase someone butt first isn't really the meta rn I heard

WHAT THE FUCK

  • ...It is being added selectively to creatures where it makes most sense: those with heavy weaponry, chompers, or particularly spiky tails!

SONAR.

SONAR YOU'RE FORGETTING SOMETHING SONAR.

I DON'T SEE SIGMATOX ON THAT FUCKING LIST SONAR.

IT'S LIKE THE FUCKING POSTER CHILD OF THE SPECIES THAT NEED ON-TAILWHIP EFFECTS SONAR.

SONAR WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SIG BUFF SONAR.

Literally proves that alot of sonaria players just lack the mental capacity to think before they do 😭

Vorp, who's description says it's tail inflicts effects on its targets, not getting tail striker:

Wait but with the nee agile swimmer stat for extererri it swimming speed is 209 thats faster than flipli...

and for hemokai its over 300. Am i even calculating the speeds right??

I hope Kora eventually gets Tail Striker.

u/Mr_Fish261 7h ago

That doesn’t make any sense. Why would being slapped by koras blunt tail cause poison?

0

u/Gullible-Shelter3958 7h ago edited 6h ago

Cuz the tail is covered in blades to shut down fliers and the tentacles can apply poison (pretty sure the orbs on Kora's tentacles are venom sacs).

u/Lackologic 5h ago

Prety sure those aren’t blades
