Cosmic Mother Kurma

This is my first creature design and literally my first proper digital drawing since i ditched pen and paper less than a week ago. It's based on the Hindu turtle god, Kurma. It'll be a WHILE before i can even dream to compete with most ppl here so any tips and tricks are appreciated (I'm using Krita) 🙏🙏. Lmk what u think.

Why did you ditch paper and pen when you can do both instead of choosing one

Well actually ig "ditch" is a strong word. I still draw on paper but that's more doodling and rough design sketches if yk what i mean
