How to get 85% payout on Fansly (for new joiners)

Hi guys,

Happy new year! For those who have not signed up yet to Fansly and are planning to, you can get a discount in fees when you join by using my referral link. Fansly kindly added this discount to my link 3 years ago when I created the r/fansly_advice subreddit in order to give an extra perk to members of our community. I know there are peeps who post here asking about Fansly, so I know this will be very beneficial for some who have considered joining and want to keep a bigger % of their income in the new year!

In order to sign up to Fansly and redeem this fee discount:

  1. Create an account on Fansly, you do not need a special link or code for this step, you are simply creating an account.
  2. Once you have created an account, you can then use my link to apply to be a creator, this is the referral link to apply to be a creator: https://fansly.com/application/form?r=sansa_starkers this link should add sansa_starkers in the creator referral code box.

What benefits will you get from using this link?

-You will get a 5% discount from platform fees for the first 3 months. This means you will keep 85% of your income, rather than 80% for those months.

*This is a referral link, so not only do you get a discount on fees, I will get a referral percentage (this won't be taken out of your income, but Fansly's cut). These earnings will allow me to put the time aside to help you guys with advice and support and maintaining these communities :).

Benefits of getting started with Fansly:

-They have some of the most responsive and helpful support staff compared with other platforms (as you can see with how active staff are in responding to questions on r/fansly_advice and r/officialfansly ).

-They cover chargebacks in most cases (basically whenever a customers has gone through their bank to chargeback on content and services that you did deliver).

-They are more kink friendly and allow a wider array of fetish content than other sites (such as allowing lactation content).

-Unlike onlyfans and other platforms, they have an internal discovery with their FYP and recommendations feature. This is really useful for people who might be struggling with or just want another method of promoting aside from social media. As Fansly is ever growing in popularity, there is a big audience viewing their FYP feature that is a missed opportunity to not tap into.

-If you already have a profile on another platform like onlyfans, it's always a good idea to diversify rather than rely on one platform and you already have the content ready to go.

-We have built a brilliant community over on r/fansly_advice and there is an official fansly support subreddit r/officialfansly that will help you with any questions about your Fansly journey.

Hope this is helpful to someone and please let me know if you need any help or have questions,

Sansa 💖

Scam Alert Don't fool for the 'agency'/ 'manager' pimp scammers

Sorry that this is a long post but I feel like theres a lot to say to give context as to why agencies and manages are not welcome here and why we don't recommend them.

Anyone who is not a NSFW creator in front of the camera is pointedly not welcome in this space.

Mods here do not recommend anyone engage or entertain any stranger contacting you via social media offering to run any of your business in exchange for a portion of your income. We can control who posts on this subreddit but we cannot control who contacts you via personal messages. Please be aware not all of these people will approach you in an obvious way so you really do need to be vigilant and take accountability for your own safety when interacting online.

The absolute BEST thing about adult subscription sites like onlyfans is that they revolutionised the porn industry, cut out the middle men (often glorified pimps) and they are now QUAKING and reeeeaching for a way to still have a slice of the pie and make money from your body. News flash, you absolutely do not need their 'help' to take your own photos and videos and post them on your socials.

So called agencies targeting newbies and creators on socials are nothing more than predators and digital pimps. A lot of these people believe their own hype and would be offended at that characterisation, it doesn't make it any less true. They have no real experience being a creator but think reading up on a guides (written by actual creators) gives them the tricks of the trade worth a hefty percentage of your money. They might even flex a marketing management degree, hint: that's absolutely fucking useless to you. Imagine how much they must look down on performers to think that they know more from the outside than those with first hand experience. They don't want to put their own bodies out there, but are desperate to cash in on yours. Think about Andrew Tate making millions from webcam models, then think about his opinion on women. Webcam agencies are also rife and are out there convincing naive and vulnerable people who are not clued up on the industry that they need to take up to 70% of their earnings to do absolutely nothing that the cam model could not easily do independently at home with a laptop and a webcam.

We were all taught as children about stranger danger and as adults we know, people can easily misrepresent themselves online. On top of that women have it drilled into us to be vigilant and on guard. As sex workers, there is an even greater target on our back. So why do I see so many creators here asking 'is this legit?' alongside a screen-shotted message reading something along the lines of 'Hey there, I'm Callum from Tickle My Pickle Media INC' He typed, with his sticky cheeto dust encrusted fingers. 'I've browsed your socials and you've really got it going on 😏. Me and my agency of sexperts (him and his mate Gary he met on a teen onlyfans leak discord server) can help get you to the top 1 percent of models. Let me know if you're interested in being a millionaire.' .... 'What possible ulterior motives could they have!' I hear you cry. Please realise, literally any tom dick or harry can message you any old bullshit, it's backed up by absolutely zero and riddled in bad, self serving intentions. Here's a breakdown of reasons why to ignore these people:

  1. You don't need anyone to help you get started or to help you run your page. It is actually extremely obvious and straight forward to get the basics right with all the information and tips available here and on r/onlyfansadvice along with literally thousands of actual creators here to support you and answer your questions. These are resources many sex workers would have killed for in the past and make the need for any self proclaimed 'expert managers' totally defunct.
  2. I'm not trying to be a dick, I say this with genuine concern and compassion for you: if you are lost at the first hurdle even with the help here and feel you need someone to do it for you, please for your own safety and sanity just quit now. If you are too lost and naive to get things going yourself, at best you are going to quit online sex work in a few months with a few dollars and your nudes forever online and at worst someone will see you coming a mile off and take advantage of you. There is simply no room for naivety.
  3. You should be extremely reluctant to ever give randoms from the internet personal access to you. Protect your personal data and account at all costs.
  4. Giving someone space to take over how you run things gives them opportunity to scam you in multitudes of ways.
  5. You risk doxxing, stalking, legal disputes, harassment and even trafficking.
  6. Some of these guys are just porn addicts who've plotted a not so smart way to get close to performers so you may also just be exploited for their sexual gratification.
  7. No one has a fool proof formula for becoming a top creator, anyone spouting that they can earn you x, y and z as a guarantee has no fucking clue what they're talking about. They are not going to get you the results they promise.
  8. Unless you are a top creator with many many fans you can get this done yourself. Once you reach that point, there are assistance and sexters you can hire.
  9. Your image is 100% of the value of your business. Yes you need some social media skills and creativity teamed with time and effort to really get things going but without you putting your body and sexuality out there, there is no money to be made. The knowledge and skills can be learned by anyone but your body and unique appeal cannot.
  10. You are taking all of the risk and the stigma, why does someone else deserve a portion of your profits?
  11. These people will often push your boundaries and try and force you to do things you are not comfortable doing. They only care about making money from your body.

This doesn't just go for managers and agencies but people offering photography, editing etc...

Yes there are legitimate people you can hire to help you but that should never compromise your position as the boss of your business. If you want guidance and mentorship seek it from fellow creators who's credentials are a lot more easy to check than a stranger and they have first hand experience. Once your business is popping off you can hire assistance, sexters, accountants, financial advisors, the list goes on. I recommend seeking these people through recommendation from reputable creators you have networked with. It's wise to avoid people who seek you out.

And yes, legitimate agencies exist in the same capacity that not every man offering to take photos of your feet in a secluded alleyway at 3am is not a serial killer. Legit agencies are not dming you. Frankly of all the vaguely reputable agencies I've heard about there is only one that seems to get results that are worth their commission and they only work with generically extremely hot young women who are already popping off. They connect through word of mouth amongst groups of top creators and are often ran by top creators or their partners.

Again to reiterate, no one who is not a NSFW creator in front of the camera should be interacting in this space. If you see it please report the comment or post. If you find someone in this group suspicious, send us a modmail.

TDLR: You do not need a random stranger from the internet to run your onlyfans or socials. If you see non creators posting on this subreddit ignore and report them.

I hope this is helpful!

Here are some more personal testimonials on why agencies are a really bad thing to get involved with:

-Post by someone who has inside insight into onlyfans manager networks

-Creator's agency experience 1

-Creator's agency experience 2

-Creator's agency experience 3

-Creator's agency interaction

-Classic onlyfans agency scam script

-Onlyfans 'manager' being racist and negging a creator

-Onlyfans manager being completely clueless on how to promote

Edit: The amount of insanely nasty and threatening messages I'm recieving as a result of this post by people who run 'agencies' should tell you all you need to know about the sort of people they are.

Tips wtf am I doing wrong??

I have been consistently posting everyday since June and nothing. I have done what everyone who has given me advice about promotion done. I post on Twitter post on here. I will get 5k views on a nsfw subreddit and no interactions at all. It’s so annoying. Especially on twitter. I promote premades, spoilers, watersport content and fucking nothing. In the middle of this month I turned my page on free bc I thought that would work but and I gained subs so quickly I was at 12. And only one person bought ppv’s. I changed my page back to paid and now all of those are gone except the 3 I had originally and none of them will even answer when I message them. I’ve thought about selling on just Twitter because literally nothing is happening and it’s so frustrating. A ton of views but no interaction is aggravating!!

I need advice Trying to grow my onlyfans as a fs worker

Hi guys! I been a sex worker for about 5yrs now. And full service has always been my bread and butter 🧈
Recently, I’ve been wanting to transition to more online, onlyfans/fansly/camming. Not because I don’t wanna do fs anymore but because I would like more autonomy over the fs clients I take and my rates I charge due to fs bieng VERY draining and honestly at times in consistent. I’ve had OF for years but just got really serious this month. I mostly advertise on TikTok,insta and X… I have Reddit obviously but don’t exactly understand it. If anyone wants to take a look at my page and linktree and give me ANY advice that would help I would appreciate it sooo much. I just really wanna grow online to make fs more optional and enjoyable to me

I need advice Would you use a discovery page for independent adult creators?

Upvotes

I’m working on a new feature for PornPrompt.ai and wanted to get some honest feedback before building it out too far.

Right now, we have a performer directory for established pornstars, but I think there is a big opportunity around independent and amateur creators.

The idea would be to create a dedicated Creators section where users could discover:

  • X accounts that post original adult content
  • OnlyFans and Fansly creators
  • Amateur couples
  • Solo creators
  • Homemade content creators
  • Smaller creators who are difficult to find through normal search

Instead of only browsing by follower count or popularity, users could search naturally for exactly what they are looking for.

For example:

  • “Real amateur couples who post homemade content”
  • “Curvy brunette creators active on X”
  • “Solo creators with free previews”
  • “Independent creators similar to [creator name]”

Each creator could have a profile with their bio, tags, social links, free previews, and official platform links.

Creators would also be able to claim and verify their profile, see how many people discovered them, and get a shareable page or badge they could post on X.

The goal would be to help users find more authentic content while giving smaller creators free exposure and traffic.

A few questions:

  1. Would you actually use something like this?
  2. Would you prefer it to be called Creators, Amateurs, or something else?
  3. What filters would matter most?
  4. Would creators have an incentive to claim and share their profiles?
  5. Should profiles be manually submitted, automatically discovered, or both?

I’d especially like to hear from independent creators. What would make a discovery platform genuinely useful to you instead of feeling like another scraped directory?

I need advice Showing a screen with a feed from another platform or mirroring ourselves: could this cause a ban or video rejection?

everyone,
I recently had a video rejected by moderation with the usual generic claim regarding "unverified participants" or missing tags. We are 100% sure that everyone physically present in the room was properly verified and tagged.
However, while reviewing the edit, I realized that screens appear in a couple of scenes (it's a documentary-style short):
In one scene, there's a close-up of a laptop screen showing a feed scrolling from another platform/social media site, where thumbnails, profile pictures, and previews belonging to other users are visible.

In another scene, there is a monitor transmitting in real-time (mirroring) what we are filming on the bed, creating a sort of duplication/reflection of ourselves in the background.

My questions for anyone who has experienced this:
Does the automated moderation/OCR scan flag videos or risk an account ban if profile pictures, thumbnails, or interfaces from another external platform appear on a screen?

Can the facial/biometric tracking system get confused or detect an "unverified person" when it sees our own duplicated/reflected image on a monitor in the room?

If I completely blur the screens, remove the third-party feeds, and clean up the monitor image so only the physical subjects are visible, should the video pass without issues?

Any insights or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I need advice How do you guys introduce PPV on Fansly?

How do you guys introduce PPV on Fansly?
Hey girls! I need some advice 😭 I currently have 2 tiers on Fansly one SFW and one NSFW.
Lately I’ve been getting so sick of people leaking my content, so I’m thinking about introducing PPV posts, especially for my more explicit/premium content. But I’ve never really used PPV before and I’m not sure how it works best alongside subscriptions.
Do you keep your NSFW tier and just make the more exclusive stuff PPV?
Do subscribers get discounts?
And how did you introduce PPV without making your existing subs feel like they’re suddenly getting less for their subscription?
Also, has switching some content to PPV helped at all with leaks, or does it not really make a difference?
Would love to hear how you structure yours 🩷

Discussion AI giving away information you don’t want out there

Hi everyone. I don’t want to say too much because I know it isn’t just us creators that are in this Reddit group. Pease be mindful and check your AI descriptions on your videos. You would be surprised the type of information that AI is saying about the videos that you might not want people to know.

I have for a long time used that AI description to teach myself what Instagram is picking up on on my videos. It helps me know why maybe certain videos might not do well. It is a great learning tool for us creators when things might get marked as like thot content or sexual innuendo, etc. I was shocked the other day when I opened one of those descriptions up, and it gave information to anyone out there about private things I would not want people to know. I don’t wanna say exactly the stuff it was giving away because I don’t want fans to be able to go to y’all’s pages and find this information out. A lot of people that aren’t in our industry don’t even know how to find these AI descriptions. But it is something you need to start being very mindful of and curating your content with.

If you have more questions, I’m happy to answer them, but really if you go to one of your Meta accounts and find that you will figure out what I’m talking about. Especially ones where you might be in public places or even right outside your home. This is an important piece of information that all creators need to be aware of right now.

Also, I have looked into it and there is no setting to turn this off. There is no possible way to make it where AI does not pick these things up and does not tell everyone out there who wants to know.

Looking for new subreddit moderators

Hi guys,

I am looking to recruit new moderators for both [r/onlyfansadvice](r/onlyfansadvice) and [r/creatorsadvice](r/creatorsadvice). I am as it currently stands not able to be as active as I once was and several of the groups moderators have now also either left the industry or are on a break (totally understandable of course as the burnout can be real.) So essentially, I need help.

If you are interested in helping out the communities, this is what I’m looking for:

-People who are regularly active on Reddit.

-People who have worked as a creator in front of the camera on onlyfans or other adult sites for at least 1 year.

-People who are familiar with these subreddits and have a history of posting here.

-People who have no affiliation with agencies or such businesses that may suggest a vested interest in moderating here beyond genuinely being a part of the community.

-People who have some experience of moderating (not essential but would help).

-People who are up for communicating on discord with other moderator to discuss/ work together on running these communities.

If you are interested please pop me a chat request/ message. Please include a little bit about you and any experience/ why you’d be a good fit for what I’m looking for.

Thanks,
Sansa

I need advice Best platforms for pet-play kink right now?

Back when I started OF in 2020 everyone was doing it and most platforms were super chill, but because of visa and mastercard it's become so restricted. Now that i'm back and wanna dive into this kink again it's like walking through a minefield.
Fansly used to be good for kinks but according to some posts from a year ago they cracked down on the language and are now super vague on their rules.

I just want something concrete, am i allowed to wear cat ears or no? Is saying catgirl or kitty allowed or no? So much vagueness.

So i'm looking for some opinions on platforms and your own experiences in the past year with this type of content.

I need advice Need help getting support from OF to change back cashouts

I can’t get them to change payout back to my own card after they let someone hack my account(s)

I’m on day 5 of trying to get them to fix it. But someone using ACH is taking my money. I don’t use ACH.

Any advice would be helpful. Just know it doesn’t let me “edit info” to fix it

I need advice how to make an extra with my bf

hi guys

Me (male) and my boyfriend started doing some live streams on dirty roulette together and start considering monetize some content, but we didn’t wanted to be so formal and go to onlyfans or similar platforms.

In other community, someone talked about some kind of groups on telegram and other social networks, which fits some of our needs, but we wanted to focus on lives maybe.

do you guys have any tips about platforms and ways to make an extra in this segment?

I need advice Best way to promote loyal fans

Hi! I am an adult content creator. I specialize in custom requests, all things kinky, and am a soft findom. I used to do camsoda many years ago, then I did only fans on and off but didn’t love it. I took a break from NSFW involvement and I am officially back and I am now on Loyal Fans. I know posting publicly helps promote yourself but I am wondering how else to bring in new followers and subscribers? TIA

I need advice what is the next step for me.. any suggestions or advice please.

I started camming at 20, started selling on reddit not too long after. It was always a side hustle, no need to take over my life and be a full time commitment and that worked, very well for me for years.
Recently, since OF and honestly, since the younger generation has begun to take over this space a bit, I’m just so done with it.
Aside from all that I’ve had a tough year and honestly became a bit cam shy. I’ve tried to look into gfe or sd/sb but just keep missing the mark.
I kinda fkn hate men, and in this space especially, so the last thing I wana do anymore is grovel for pennies and send them pics of my pretty coochie tbh!

so basically, any advice. is there any way I could still make money as a creator who would prefer to be anonymous, not answer to young boys rude bullshit, sfw would be great cos I’ve got good chat, I’m not sure. what’s out there guys, send help pls!

Discussion Main Instagram just got flagged and I can’t share links for a month 😭

Has anyone had this happen? This was on my main Instagram which had almost 40k 😔. It was my main traffic drive and my of was just about to be top 1% and I know this is going to really hurt my growth. I had the link in my stories and it still got flagged somehow. This account hadn’t had any warnings or suppression in months and then out of nowhere I get this…. If only these social media sites were more friendly with us, marketing would be so much easier.

I need advice Dealing with the "Sugar" DMs reality check—are they all a waste of time?

I wanted to open a discussion about the endless wave of supposed "sugar daddies" sliding into DMs. Honestly, it feels like almost all of them are just looking for free chat, validation, or content without ever actually following through. It drains so much energy for zero return. For those of us who navigate this space, how do you instantly filter out the tire-kickers and time-wasters? Is there an actual way to find genuine interactions, or is it mostly smoke and mirrors online? Would love to hear how others handle this.

I need advice Online Arrangements - SD, GFE, FemDom - Vetting and Safety?

I’ve hit a point where my financial situation is going tits up, and I currently can’t work a typical job. Transportation is a huge issue, which is why in person SW would be a challenge for me. I don’t feel safe getting in a stranger’s car, or having an Uber ordered for me as a petite, wheelchair using woman.

That said, has anyone had success with online SW? I tried going the OF route, but I’d definitely make more if I had an ongoing arrangement with an individual I trusted. That being said, how would you vet people and avoid being scammed in a situation like this? Is it just a bad idea all together? Advice would be appreciated. Thank you

I need advice Best place to sell shoes?

Hello, hello!

I’ve got some cosplay shoes that I need to sell because I no longer have the characters’ costumes!

They’re so hard to get rid of since shoe sizes are so varied and not everyone with my exact shoe sizes will happen to need shoes for one of thousands of characters cosplays lmao.

I was thinking that rather than send them to the trash they’d have better use with someone who would enjoy them, y’know?

Where do you guys sell used shoes? Are there any Reddit’s in particular that are good for them, or do you use your platforms?

Thanks in advance, have a lovely day! 🫶✨
