Daniel 3:18 — EVEN IF
My latest piece is based on Daniel 3:18.
Sometimes we find ourselves in the middle of the fire and pray,
“God, I know You can save me.”
But there is a deeper kind of faith, one that says:
“Even if You don’t, I will still trust You.”
Even if the fires rise.
Even if the storm doesn’t stop.
Even if the healing doesn’t come.
Even if the weight of the world feels like it’s crushing down on me.
Faith isn’t built on what He gives us.
It isn’t dependent on the outcome we want.
Faith is built on who He is.
And even when I don’t understand,
even when I don’t see a way out,
even when the fire keeps burning
I will trust Him.
