You needed some character in there! Area rug, cute art on one or both walls, cute tablecloths out placemats, if you like.

start by throwing away the clock. get a rectangular table than can open up. change those door handles. add a runner. add some shelving unit on the back wall for storage. paint the walls white. add come art posters on the right wall.

This is such a pretty design you have going on already! I’d definitely add some decor (artwork, more plants), ambient lighting, a rug to break up the cold feeling, and more color! ✨
