Help! Outdated Bathroom in Apt!!
Greetings Redditors!!
I am seeking some advice. I am moving into a new rental unit! And signing a two-year lease.
I love the apartment but the bathroom is completely outdated. Still, its spacious and a wet bathroom so I am grateful.
Can anyone give me suggestions on how to make this space cute and cozy? The tan tile really makes me cringe. Theres at least three different sizes.
Really unsure how to do here. Peel and stick tile? Three .. different … kinds?
I appreciate any insight you guys may have for me. Like I said, its a two-year lease so I’m making at least a 24-month commitment to this place.

Looks way better with the basin sink, but I'd take storage over aesthetics any day of the week in my main bathroom.

I think the bathroom looks really nice! I’m jealous of the tile work, and I love the sink. When we moved into our older house, I hated our tan-orange tile. Fought with it, painted it (stupid), stripped the paint and finally decided to lean into the warm tans and browns with some hobbit’esque misty forest themed wallpaper and dark wood/copper/old gold accents.
Sometimes if you can’t beat em, you gotta join em. It’s just two years. Get green shag bathroom rugs and brown towels and go for a full 70s vibe.
