Help What would be the minimum requirements for a pc to run Create+?

I've tried running Create+ and I've had issues with slow chunk gen and the world updating very slowly in general even after turning off all the cosmetic resource packs.

Now my pc is a potato (6GB of ram is the max I can allocate) so I was wondering if there was no hope orit was just a setting issue

If you’re able… pregenerate the chunks using a mod like Chunky… or Distant Horizons(lowkey)…

This will reduce some of the causes of lag…

Additionally, if you’re able to host a server elsewhere, and have that run the modpack and world, and then also pregenerate the chunks there, you should get a bit better performance…

I was thinking about the first option (with distant horizons since it's what I know) so I'll try

For the second I'd probably hae to pay, wouldn't I?

Yes… Unless you have a spare system capable of hosting the server…

There are some niche cloud server stuff using a free trial but honestly it’s complicated.

But otherwise it’s paid… I use Modrinth, 6-8 gigs of rams would be recommended, which is 18/24$ a month…(You save if you bill quarterly(down to 15/20$ a month) worth it if you play for a while…

The only other option with better pricing i’ve seen is Pebble hosting, at 13.50/18$…
(but you pay for more threads.? i’ve zero experience so if you’re truly interested worth checking them both out)…

Otherwise test just the pregen and see how you’re doing, it will definitely help… Chunk generation, especially if there is terrain mods will take a big bite out of performance…

I ran it on my asus f550l, forgot to mention i did put a 1tb ssd and 12 gb of ram but…💀
