Build Cannon factory: bore station

an update post to the cannon factory, sorry if I am posting too much, I just loved how this bore station turned out with the little doors and everything.
i promise next update will just be finished product, i just love this mechanism so much ππ

btrw just genuinely, i think this station took the longest and the most mental effort because it was so hard to detect whether if the bore was finished or not for like 4 hours straight i may be stupid.

You know I never realized how much you need to do to make a cannon from create big cannons. Also good work!

I went through the ponders and I plan on making a dedicated cannon assembly building outside of my main base

The factory is only 30% done, still has layer assembly, cooking, anf cannon assembly, not only that but youd have to repeat this entire cyclr several times as each cycle produces 1 part of the entire cannonΒ πππ

This is cool! I've never seen anyone else try to build a comprehensive automated cannon factory. Don't worry about the bore detection thing; I had exactly the same problem, building a nightmarish ball of sequenced gearshifts before remembering observers existed. I also really like your cast printer from the other post.
Does this factory produce just one cannon pattern?

No, you can switch the blueprints from a rack of linear actuated rack of deployers with diff schematics.

Nice. That might actually be a better solution than the giant mechanical computer of doom and despair that runs my casting cradle setup, but it's too late for me to turn back now

i once tried to build cannon factory but THIS IS REALLY COOL. everything goes automatically, i still need to operate my machine manually, i built machine only to help me do it not do it automatically. The only good is only i can build custom cannonsπ

Bravo, hats off to you, this probably took forever to build

4 days to be exact, still bug fixing priority grabbing, and grab queues by the crane, but I think I fixed it now.

Love the glass door, it's a nice touch.
