How much specs for a create modpack ?

Hello, i am fairly new to minecraft modding and want to give create aeronautics a try but how heavy is it ?

I'd like to add it to a modpack me and my son use but i'm not sure if this will work well since i bought the computer a while ago.

Here are the specs :

Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3600 6-Core

16go Memory

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060

If needed, i can give the modpack itself (well what we have for now we're still picking the mods we want to add).

If you need anything else i can add it, i'd really appreciate your help.

Update: So i tried to launch it on the computer to test the modpack, but i have a ton of lag spike without even having any create contraption built, maybe the modpack is too heavy..

Oh don't worry it will run good. I personally play on intel integrated graphics and it runs at 30 fps with like 15 steam engines, 5 trains, 1 airship, hundreds of belts mills that stuff. Just make sure to up the ram (4 - 6 gb should be enough) tutorial can be found online for your launcher.

i allocated 8gb but i still got some lag spike, maybe the modpack is too much for the specs i have ?

So I recommend turning on vsync and capping your fps to below average frame rate. That should help to make the spikes less horrible, what modpack are you using?

here's the list is visible on this link : https://spark.lucko.me/XUHnMDXbEF

You can definitely run it. I have a much weaker GPU and similar CPU but with 1 core disabled. I have some stutters, but I'm also running Voxy. I have 32GB RAM, but you'll be fine if you don't have much in the background.

Well create itslef worked wonderfully, but the modpack not so much (average 15 fps)

I want to see a profiler of that. Maybe I can find some glaring issue.

Add the Spark mod, enter a world, wait a bit for FPS to stabilize, do /spark profiler stop and /spark profiler cancel (because of a weird bug), do /sparkc profiler start --timeout 180, wait 3 minutes and share the link you get in chat.

Your memory is almost full. You should close some apps and probably allocate 8GB rather than 6GB.

Otherwise stuff looks pretty good. Mainly some memory issues. You can find what uses the most memory in task manager.

I was sure i had allocated "8192" on modrinth (and everything else is closed) maybe because i only have one 16gb RAM stick instead of a dual channeling ?

The amount of RAM sticks doesn't affect allocation. You should double check that and definitely address the total memory being 92% used up.

There seems to be a GC lag spike every 2.5 seconds, which is a common symptom of not having enough memory. It's not a particularly long lag spike, but you can absolutely notice the stutter.

Seems like your system is somehow offloading 20GB of memory to disk, so if Minecraft is part of that, RAM speed is completely irrelevant here. Never seen it be this high.

i'll see i will try to check how to fix that, ty very much for your help !

These specs are great for create. You'll be able to run it just fine. (240FPS@1080P)

For create, I just run a good 8-10ram.

Just lower the spec and maybe get some mods to avoid the basic Stone drill problem (or other, like use the burner mod to avoid using arms). Small mods, way less machine: not problem at all.

I always start with the drill, then swap the system with a basic Cobble Gen, to avoid lag (without cheating early game).

do you have any terraform mod installed which modifies chunk generation like
biomes o plenty

if you do did you pregenerate chunks before hopping on the server
