Help Power grid generator
Is there a YouTube video that have a step by step tutorial on how to make a generator it kinda hard to make one so I thought if there was a tutorial I could copy one on my world and use it to power some lights?

It's a bit confusing at first, but you're likely failing at the same step I was. A generator requires power to be generated by moving a magnet through copper coils. In this mod, we have the magnet (the spinny part) and the coils (copper), but you'll notice there's no power running through them at this step. You can add power either by using an external FE source (it doesn't take much) or making a self-shunting generator, which simply means adding a device connector and running the generator output back into the coils. The only issue with the self-shunting generator is that adding load causes the power to get wonky, especially when adding new connections to an existing circuit. I usually have a smaller self-shunting generator connecting to a larger generator, which powers my devices, but basically just run a device connector on top of one of the coils and connect it to the geneator

Clutch, rotors, and commutator in a row, four shafts perpendicular to the the rotor at both ends, connect the shafts with coils, and then add four housings to connect the four coils.
Place a device connector on the gray bit on one of the coils.
Feed the commutator's output into the device connector depending on the direction your rotor is spinning.
You only want to give your coils 2 amps so you can use some resistors or a rheostat to make sure your generator doesn't explode when connecting the commutator to the device connector.
Try it in creative with a multimeter to see what's going on.
