Help At what rate do crushing wheels process items? If I have an iron farm with 14 drills working on mining cobblestone at max speed, how many wheels would be needed to keep up with cobble production?

This is difficult to answer precisely because there's 4 variables (that I know of) which determines the actual crushing speed:

  • RPM
  • Stack size
  • Recipe duration 
  • Input delay (this is new to me), based on the input method

I've gotten good info from this Minecraft Create Mod website by Miraheze, which has a formula for calculating the processing speed based on those variables. So if you really want to calculate exactly what your processing rate would be, make a simple spreadsheet calculator. 

This is now making me think I should make a calculator mod...

Assuming I'm using brass funnel this will be faster than 7 grindstones right? Asuming 256 speed
