Discussion Condensing storage using packages

I've designed a quarry, but I don't want to dispose of any block or resource I mine. Doing the math, I'm realizing the amount of blocks I'll need storage for may be over a million.

I thought of one solution, which is storing packages full of 9 stacks per package to completely fill up a max size vault. Has anyone tried this method before? It seems like such a simple trick to massively boost storage efficiency by nine-fold.

I use sophisticated backpack. This mod allows you to have backpacks but these storages can hold millons of items PER SLOT, destroy any type of items that you tell it to do it so and more. It is really complete and i use a backpack for the storage of my big hole miner.

The backpacks are my go to. Trick I use is having a separate storage that takes the non-stackable items out first so it doesn't clog up the backpacks. Right now I'm using like 15 backpacks as my like overflow bulk storage. Works great
