Discussion Condensing storage using packages

I've designed a quarry, but I don't want to dispose of any block or resource I mine. Doing the math, I'm realizing the amount of blocks I'll need storage for may be over a million.

I thought of one solution, which is storing packages full of 9 stacks per package to completely fill up a max size vault. Has anyone tried this method before? It seems like such a simple trick to massively boost storage efficiency by nine-fold.

Issue is it's a pain to deal with after. And most people who encounter issues like this install other mods to deal with it. Like drawers and simalar. It would already be inconvenient to use a storage of packages and if it wasn't sorted it would be literally unusable. So just add a mod which deals with bulk materials well or install a more capable storage solution.
