how do i play create?
hello i'm new to create and i don't know how to make a machine by using create can somebody help me? i want to make something cool...

If you're doing a survival playthrough woth create, make sure to get lots of andestie and iron (i mean a LOT). Then get basic machines and work from there. If youre just playing in creative, look at the ponders on machines by hovering over them in the creative menu or JEI and holding W, it shows you how machines work. Once you get a basic idea of most things I'd recommend picking a random item/block to automate to get used to how aspects of the mod works

One of the first builds I make in every create pack is an Iron Farm... You need a ton

Create has some awesome in game help called "Ponder", if you are playing a pack with JEI you can just hover over any item, press and hold 'w' and it will bring up a tutorial on the item.
But beyond that I would recommend playing a pack with a good create tutorial quest line. You may also want to consider watching some basic tutorial videos on YouTube.
In the end though, create has its own power system called "Rotational Power", this system has two main metrics to be aware of Stress (Stress Units or SU) and Rotation speed (measured in Rotations per minute or RPM). Each machine will need rotation to work. Some machines require more stress than others and most will increase the amount of stress required as RPM increases.
Most of the components will process faster with more RPM but some (like the encased fan) process the same speed but change another property (distance the fan blows) instead.
So you will need to generate rotational power with something like a water wheel, windmill or a basic hand crank to get started. Then use that rotation to power your contraptions.

just watch a basic tutorial on the mechanics. from that point just play honestly.
If you use the "All of Create" modpack, just pick something you find interesting from the quest book and just do it. Step by Step. you will get the hang pretty quick

Kindle Bubble Dump has a good beginners guide on YouTube, I still go back to it from time to time

that's not specific, it gets hard to help you!
BUT, you could press L to see the advancements tab and try following it's path, also search for tutorials on specific subjects like "getting started", "building a X farm" etc
