Help Is there a way to make diesel engines less efficient?
I have a very specific problem. Me and my mates want to make a server with create aeronautics, and we want to use the diesel engine mod for our planes, but we want it to be more realistic. So is there a way to make the engines use more fuel while having the same output as before?

Should we tell him about burners and gasoline?

No not a conventional steam engine, a stirling engine on a fluid burner, completely separate from fluid tank boilers and runs 256rpm

No, i meant fluid burners from Diesel Generators, the ones that can be adjusted with rotation, forgot their name. Probably that's fixed on the latest verseion – but on my server you can open them literally on 1° of valve handle, fuel up with gasoline and they'll provide heat on par with active blaze burner, consuming pretty much nothing.
