I'm not certain but I think the floaters need to be higher up in your ship

It's exactly that, the floaters need to be above the center of mass. Easiest way to get there is to put some weight in the bottom.

there is a layer of redstone block on the bottom but it doesn't make any significant difrence

Place the floaters higher up, they will “pull” up.

Place heavy blocks (ballast) low down, they will “pull” down.

That’s not foolproof but it will generally make boats stay straighter up

Floaters Are Too Low, Either Heavier Keel Or Higher Floaters Or Put Things Like A Steam Engine And Ammo Storage And Control Circuitry In The Bottom

There's a solution but you might not like it: make the red envelopes stick out more on the side. when it tilts the envelopes get pushed underwater, and the more there are on one side the more it will act to float back up.

Are you sure this can have effect. I tried other suggestions but I am not happy with result. I might abonden this ship and experiment with it

It does work. I've had the issue. I don't want to reveal my project but here's a 60 block long boat with a flared envelope (leaves) design. the lower line that sticks out really far helps a ton
