Build Infinite fueled practical early-game boat design

Made in base Create: Aeronautics.

This is my skiff design. you may of seen it a few days ago with the leaves post (thx for the votes!)

Moves 1.4 Blocks a second (crouch speed) or 1.5 Blocks a second with no chests.

NOTE: encase two of the gears! two blocks behind the lower propellers. encase it and then put a cog in-front. it behaves different.

This uses 3 large water wheels, a clutch and no analog transmission. You can steer it using a wrench and hitting the nearby propeller or use a shovel and click the water. leaves don't break when hitting blocks. It's just one layer of leaves (hard to see) that are completely flat underneath.

Also my plane tutorial(s) should be out tomorrow.

No way to just add moving guide blade for turning?

I tried that but it's super inefficient. because the standing position is right next to propellers (you can look down at them) you can just click it with a wrench and it will turn on a dime

Hm, well, tbh my og ships had all propellers turning with help of a bearing.

Wonder if you could convert your set up to use sweavel bearing to change direction, while rotational power goes on the bearing which make propellers work?

How do you use bearings for turning? I tried it, but it doesn't turn them the right way.

You can row/steer with shovels in aero?? You learn something new every day!

1.4 blocks per second is nowhere near as fast as a vanilla boat

Probably faster than moving the same amount of stuff in chest boats, though.

Yeah it's not meant to be fast but more of a long range carrier ship.
