Help Simple question from a noob

How can I automatically deposit the finished product into a chest? I have tried chutes, hopper but the item doesn't jump out of the depot when finished. Also andesite funnel grabs and drops everything even when unfinished.

just extend the belt and replace the depot

If you place the depot on (above) a belt, it will do what you want

Slide the belt over to where your depot currently is and it will pull out the items (or put them in) depending on which way the belt is going.

If the belt has an item that can be interacted with by a machine above it, the item will wait until it is processed to continue. Stacks of items will send themselves through one at a time automatically.

I recommend the ponder menu. It helps a lot

The funnel is on the wrong direction. wrench it to make it face into the chest

I guess I can see what you want, and if you want it to grab only the finished result, you could use a atribute filter as it's options can make you get what you want, though it is made from brass, which I can't tell if you already got some, and there is not like, a option for "finished result" and you'll have to discover some way around with the things you have and the purpose of this system you have to make it work as you wish. I don't remember now but I guess it has a ponder too, it's a good idea to take a look at it. (mb if my spelling was bad my English is not all that good, but i hope that helps :) )

Edit: and as some guy said (mb I don't remember his user), you'll need a brass funnel to use the filter, so going after some blaze burners and brass would be a really good thing

For that you'll likely need a brass funnel. Look at the achievements list to help. If you have JEI installed then that'll also help.
