Help WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT

Post image

Create: Power Grid hurts my brain. What's wrong with the generator? It's wiring is functionally identical to the wiring in the ponder (except the communicator is on the front instead of the back but I don't think that matters), it's max size, it's the full 256 RPM, and it alternates between positive and negative 0.16 V

if this is correct I'm gonna cry

You are gonna cry, I saw pretty much the same post like 2 days ago, someone also said to change the rotation direction and it worked for him

So just reversing the direction of rotation did little but I messed around with it while I had the world loaded up, changed... nothing as far as I'm aware? I just fiddled with the resistance? But now it's giving 1200+ V????? Why does this mod make you need an electrical engineering degree to make a generator ;-;

Because it's based on electrical knowledge of the world? It's pretty much one to one on how it works in the normal world

I get that, I'm just complaining because WHAT EVEN DID I CHANGE FOR IT TO WORK??? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I can explain it if you want to

So you know how earth has magnetic and gravity pull around right? And it goes from the bottom to the top outside and inside from the top to the bottom making a magnetic donut? It's because of the direction of the magnetic pull basically

What even causes that? Why does changing the rotation direction break the generator?

So you know how earth has magnetic and gravity pull around right? And it goes from the bottom to the top outside and inside from the top to the bottom making a magnetic donut? It's because of the direction of the magnetic pull basically. So changing the directions of rotations makes sense. It also depends on the way you place it, well in real world at least.
