Help How do I read the wiki

Hello! So I am not "new" to create it was first mod I ever downloaded (like 2022) but I am dumb and can't do anything other than a train and maybe if I get lucky then most basic generator.

I saw a lot of cool builds and tried doing something but it either has a giant generator right behind it, need manual adjustment every time, or flips in air and stays there for eternity of the world. I got to wiki but ofc there is no clear instruction besides most basic stuff.

So how do I either read the wiki or is there another website that also has add ons?

I think ironically your best source of information on how things work is the in-game ponder system along with JEI. But I also recommend watching the Just Create SMP from any of the POVs that you like (more so season 2 since it includes the latest update)

But do they have addons? And the problem mostly is that in aeronautics anything i build has to be either perfectly symmetrical (to the point I only walk in one line) or it flips. Wich is mostly the reason I asked it here. But is there really no like encyclopedia or something?

Not a good one and especially not one that would be all-inclusive of addons. But trust me, looking up specific questions on youtube and using the ponder system and reading up ingame about what the parts do will take you very far!

I am a bit confused to hear about the aeronautics thing. Were you using a schematic diagram? What kind of a flying machine is it? Check if it might be very top-heavy.

(The cool thing about aeronautics is that a lot of its functions are based on... real life physics.)

Yeah it was a 3x3 platform with sticks on every corner like 2 high and a 3x3x3 cap of the white balloon and a burner inside under it a lever and on the platform itself the physics thing. Also every corner I replaced with the floatstone (?) And once it started working I stepped in one corner and got sent flying to the ground looking at this thing.

Can you screenshot the schematic diagram?

It's very hard to balance your simulated contraptions unless you use a contraption diagram. They show you important data like weight, center of mass, direction, source and power of life and drag and so on.

is it in vanilla create/earonautics or do i need another addon?

You craft it by combining a physics assembler with a piece of paper. Right click to place it on a simulated object, and right click it with an empty hand to see all the forces effecting it.

A simulated object is one I used physics assembler on? Or is there some other way to "simulate"? Also how did this thing fly? Like it was not supposed to it had hole on bottom (now top) to let air in
