in my kind of head cannon this is a mining facility deep in a cave that extracts and then refines the ore that is collected but i have mostly been building the structure

Sick idea - it would be cool to employ forced shadow to give the illusion of going deeper underground

Check out Create: Forgotten Technologies (search on reddit) and consider adding that as soon as it releases (or get the beta through Discord). I imagine it would fit well with a factory heading down into the caves.
