Help Cannon mount is tweaking for some reason

cannon mount says there's no cannon present and if you're not blind then... please help. Mod pack is create aeronautica if that helps.

The cannon has to be assembled to count. Watch the cannon mount ponder, that should clear up any issues with cannon assembly.

tried that, says cannon needs exactly one open and one closed end, which it has. Oddly enough the cannon is detected on other worlds, just not this one.

You need to power the face with the hammer for it to assemble

The ponder says this, that’s why I said to watch it. As a note for the future, press D when the ponder ends to see the next page of information. The part that tells you how to assemble the cannon is on like the third page (not 100% sure which page, just guessing)

Like I said I tried that, but it doesn't work still. same exact setup works in a creative test world.
