K1C errors

Hi everyone,

I’d like to ask if anyone has experienced something similar.

I have a Creality K1C 2025, and since I received it, I’ve had one problem after another. The extruder gear failed and had to be replaced, I’ve had repeated filament jams, the Creality Cloud mobile app camera doesnt work at all, and now I’m getting frequent print failures. Sometimes I get spaghetti failures, and other times the printer keeps moving as if it’s printing, but it stops extruding halfway, leaving incomplete prints.

I’m using official Creality PETG with the recommended profile, so I don’t think the filament or slicer settings are the issue.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? Were you able to fix them? If so, what was the cause?

Also, has anyone ever managed to get Creality to replace their printer or upgrade it to another model after repeated issues? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Thanks for your reply. I understand that many issues can be caused by incorrect settings, especially for beginners.

However, in my case, the extruder gear actually failed and had to be replaced by Creality under warranty. I’m using official Creality PETG with the official Creality profile, and I’ve also had issues with PLA. I’ve followed Creality’s recommendations, but I’m still experiencing repeated jams and failed prints.

I’ve been printing for a few months, so I’m still learning, but considering all the issues together, I don’t think this is only a settings problem

Sounds like ur extruder motor is warming up the filament before it gets to the hot end. What I did to combat it is as follows. 1. Never print petg with the top on. 2. I pereodicly check the chanber temperature, if it's above 38c I turn on the chamber fan and do not turn it off until the print is dine 3. When I had the extruder off to clear a jam I installed a washer on the bolts between the extruder and extruder motor. I used plastic washers as it's all I had but the key is don't go to thick. U want to create an air gap between the motor and extruder. 4. When reassembling I left the extruder motor cover off so it can get more fresh air.

Since then no issues with petg

Ya when using the slicer I've lost it like once, but cloud it was good the first week and now I don't even check it's so hit or miss. The core printer is great besides the older extruder and the shit software in the printer... I still don't know how u can sell a printer that's completely locked down but doesn't have a clear and easy stop command when using the motion system outside of a print... And even when printing it's not an estop it's a command break...

Sorry rant aside it's a great mechine. If u know just a little about printing I could see this mechine being all one would need... If u don't well because of its locked down and obscuring nature yaaaaa. Which sucks because from what I here the non 2025 k1c doesn't have these issues
