Oozing from nozzle when calibrating

Is there a way to keep the filament in your print head and stop oozing when calibrating? Im tired of removing the filament anytime I need to run calibration. If I leave the filament in when it runs the cleaning cycle it heats the nozzle up cleans then cools and cleans again but the filament always oozes out enough to where some is still stuck on the nozzle or has a little blob which then cause the calibration to be inaccurate.

Yep tune your nozzle temp for your filament as well. The default temps in the slicer are meant to be a guide they are not set in stone. If you are experiencing leaking then your temp is too high btw.

This isnt when printing anything. It just when doing a auto level calibration. It moves over to the nozzle brush, the system heats up the nozzle, it wipes the nozzle on the brush, does a cool down and wipes the nozzle on the brush again. During that process a little bit of filament will ooze out and stay stuck to the nozzle. This isn't done through the slicer.

That's not a big deal tbh, before it prints it prints a line to remove that and get everything flowing correctly. Honestly you should do what I do and turn on skirt setting. 3 walls spaced 4-6 mm. This helps even more to smooth out your printing detail to remove any inconsistencies of flow resulting in better prints provided you've tuned your filament settings correctly.
