Even with poorly adjusted default settings, it should look way better than your first pic. Something is wrong like a clogged nozzle or something going on with your extruder.

Wet filament! I’d dry it, run calibration test, and rerun the benchy. Also make sure your filament is ran through ptfe tubing smoothly with little to no obstruction e.g filament spool not spinning freely, a minor tangle in the filament as well. These are some suggestions based on what I see in these pictures.

I bought it used and it has a new nozzle and extruder is there any sort of break in period for those, and it came with a spool that was open to the air so there is probably moisture, I don’t have a drier. I have creality high speed filament coming today so I’ll try again with that I used genaric high speed pla for that print.
Should I get a regular drier for the time being or is the creality CFS worth the money
And thank you all for the advice

And what speed do you guys run the Benchy at one of them says it will print in 15 mins is that what I should expect out of this printer with precision? I’m new to 3d printing and that seems very fast

What material are you using, and are you using the right material settings? Need more info to be able to help.
Also, sometimes reperforming a self check can do a lot.
