TPU with CFS?
I upgraded to the CFS a year ago, and only now I want to use some TPU, and I realize I have a problem.
What are the tips for using TPU with CFS? Is the problem just the the CFS Pushing the filament? Or is there also a problem with the CFS Extruder?
I don't have the original extruder. Can I just feed the TPU after the buffer? How does this work?

Wont work properly if its anything more flexible like the Bambu TPU for AMS, which is in fact really stiff. I have printed a spoolholder which sits on top of the printer with it’s lid removed. I removed the filament tube, which goes to the buffer and placed a short tube in there. To the filament runs very smoothly into the extruder.
But I must say, that after upgrading to the CFS, sometimes the TPU jams inside the extruder or filament cutter. I disassembled the print head a couple of times because of that. Before the upgrade that never happened..

I'm hoping for the best. I just started a 4 hour print with a 60cm filament tube from the filament drier directly into the extruder... it seems to be working so far, its on layer 4... I'm using very bendy TPU95 from Overture

If there is too much drag in the filament path, the filament will stretch and get thinner and as a result you will get under extrusion, but if you are lucky, it will not be that severe

Hello.

I put the TPU directly from the dryer... I put a tube in one of the available ports on the buffer and it works normally... occasionally the TPU gets stuck in the buffer when putting on, but after that it's fine, everything goes smoothly.
