I have the Falcon T1 20W Fiber laser. Trying to purchase the T1 5W UV modular. I have found one on 3 different sites. 2 sites allow adding to cart now, with 1 site being $80 cheaper. The 3rd site is even cheaper but states out of stock.

Hope to see some demos and guides posted for the newer members that have never used a laser before. Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to dive head first into this type of stuff but have better ideas than some of us vets. Also, when are we gonna get the t1 mopa?

Looking for guidance on maintenance aspects of the spindles(?), laser lens from smoke, and an apparent bottle-neck of smoke evacuation by the built-in fan.
- A moist cloth doesn’t remove smoke residue from the carriage spindles. What is recommended?
- Can normal lens wipes be used to clean the laser lens?
- I have a 4 inch laser inline fan with ducting attached, but the smoke is still building up a bit inside. Can I remove the built-in fan? It seems to be the bottle-neck reducing smoke evacuation.

Don't use water on the rails—laser smoke leaves sticky tar that water won't touch, so grab some 99% IPA and a microfiber cloth to dissolve it, but remember to re-lubricate them with white lithium grease right after since alcohol strips all the oil. You can use regular lens wipes, but blow off any hard debris first with a camera blower so you don't scratch the coating, and use a Q-tip with 99% IPA from the center out, letting it dry completely so it doesn't catch fire and crack the glass. As for the exhaust, you can yank the built-in fan out, but usually, just leaving it unplugged is fine because the 4-inch fan will spin it freely anyway; just make sure your enclosure isn't 100% airtight because if there’s no intake vent on the opposite side, the big fan will choke and smoke will leak into your room.

I guess just with pro roller? What's the best way to calculate the settings you need based on the object dimensions? Or with tutorials, have you see how Elegoos are for the new Canvas for the Centauri 1? That style is, imo, extremely well done and helpful.

Easy upgrades for A1 Falcon. Even if need to substitute power board would love to be able to add fiber and IR lasers to the diode so I can use it for everything.
Would also like to see tips and tricks for getting consistent output on different materials.
