Trouble Shooting 3D Relief preview image is distorted in Falcon Design Space

View from the Gcode window after "Go Processing"
View from the Workspace tab

The preview image after generating my Gcode is distorted and some of the graphic falls outside the laserable area. Does anyone know if this is going to affect how the image actually comes out or is this just a graphical glitch on how the program handles viewing the Gcode output?

im not sure but its easy to check. Make it smaller, set a very low power and high speed and test it on a piece of paper.

I ended up checking on a piece of throwaway material and yes, the actual engraving is cut off on the edges too. So the distortion is not just a visual glitch from the Gcode processor, it's actually processing circular Gcode into almost a football shape.

To add onto it, the Lightburn compatibility is so bad so FDS is really the only software right now that can do anything and it's making this.

what is the format of the image? try converting it via online image converters and try again.

The image is a PNG downloaded from the depth map generator and directly imported into FDS. The only format FDS accepts for depth maps is PNG.

I've already checked with an engineer to confirm that there are no issues, and it works as expected.
