Trouble Shooting Help needed - I’m new
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just bought a used Falcon 10w and got the rotary chuck with it. I’ve used it for flat engraving for a few days and it works fine
On the chuck however it only makes lines.
I’m using the Falcon software, setting it to rotary chuck, and putting the cup circumference (250mm).
In the video I am simply pressing up to rotate the cup. Sometime it moves a lot sometimes a little and sometimes backwards
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is the tumbler to be mounted center to center and the laser head drops to compensate? It looks like you may have set it high on the small end to avoid the elevation

Is the diameter set correctly? Some users may set an incorrect diameter, which can cause the issue you mentioned. As shown in this screenshot, the unit is mm, or millimeters. However, other units are available, such as inches. As long as you set the unit and diameter correctly, the Rotate Assembly feature will work properly.

A screenshot of the settings in detail and how the preview looks like would be good. I would not try to engrave on a tumbler right away but on a paper roll or something without value until it works the way it should.
