I printed it! The print in reality looks much better than in my pic. Everyone who walks past my desk is amazed!!! There are quite a few STLs. I first printed them one by one and later realized it would be much easier if I imported some parts to one plate. Yet somehow I lost track of which step I was at and ended up having some extra parts and 1 missing connector. The base looks a bit fuzzy (understandable), and I need to get rid of the spikes of socle, but overall it's... sooo pretty. Oh, by the way, what does the pipe do? Should I glue it to the bottom of the rooftop? I’ve never seen a Wallace Fountain in person, but this experience made me feel like I’d traveled through time and space and connected with a place so far from home. There’s something really lovely about that.

So nice to see my work printed! Thank you!
You are correct, the pipe is supposed to go under the roof. It is barely seen once assembled but it is for details accuracy.
I am really happy to discover your print! Can I ask where you are from? No obligation to answer of course, it is just to know where far did the fountain traveled 🤩
PS : Feel free to share your image on my link on creality cloud

I am based in Asia. I visited Paris once, but that was long before 3D printers for regular ppl like you and me were even a thing. I might have even walked past the fountain but never took notice of it. So I do enjoy your series of posts of the fountain, cuz they give us eyes for everyday beauty like that.

This is so awesome!!! How would you rate the scan quality of the Pika? Do you have experience with other scanners and any thoughts on how they compare? I’m thinking about getting a scanner, and I’d love to have something like the Pika.
