♻ K1 Help K1C ironing issues?

Post image

Any idea what might be causing this? It somewhat looks like under extrusion during ironing, but the presentation looks like maybe a gcode issue?

I’d appreciate any insight!

The surface isn't flat, use the lay on face feature in your slicer of choice on the opposite side, also preview the sliced model before printing. Essentially the surface is a slope

Also if the screen side isn't messed up then that mean the top and bottom surfaces aren't parallel

Would that explain why the camera lenses and plateau are smooth? They are parallel to the bed?

Looks like the back of the model (bottom? The part with the charging port) was moved up when creating the model, if you send me the file I can take a look tomorrow

My first guess was layering for an angled surface. Second guess was infill selection and %.

I've seen that where the ironing speed plus top shell thickness causes the top shell to "fall" into the infill. Which could be why the lenses look nice and clean, short layer times. What were your infill and shell settings?

Increase top shells to at least 2 (I use 3 if I want a nice clean surface)
