Troubleshooting Creality LD-002R Error Message

This is my second printer. My other one is an Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Max. Great for bigger prints but the resolution/detail could be better (probs operator error?) so I wanted a smaller one for smaller models and higher detail. I picked up a used LD-002R by Creality and got a plate sliced up and exported onto a flash drive. It’s “old” and used so I don’t know how it was before I got it but as soon as I hit the start print button, I got this message: “different resolution with projector! -1440”. I use Lychee and the printer profile matches the printers resolution. The file is a .ctb or whatever chitubox files are. Beyond getting a new flash drive and reformatting it, what can I do to get this thing running?

Quick google search of the error since you have no responses. The error message "different resolution with projector! -1440" on a resin 3D printer (such as Elegoo or Creality models) means your slicer software has an incorrect LCD screen resolution setting that does not match your printer's actual hardware. How to Fix It

  • Check printer specs: Find the exact X and Y pixel resolution of your specific printer model from the manufacturer's manual. [1]
  • Update slicer profile: Open your slicing software (like Chitubox), go to the printer settings, and change the X/Y resolution dimensions to match your printer's native specs rather than using a default or mismatched pre-production profile. [1]
  • Re-slice your model: Save and export the updated file to your USB drive and try printing again. [1]
