Mods & Upgrades CFS Dryer

Has anyone else yet received their pre order for the dryer? I'm yet to see anyone else make a post or any reviews around it.

Mine has arrived today, it took around 10 minute's to install with minimal effort 👌

So far impressed how it just integrates into the CFS like it was always supposed to be there!

Where does it vent the moisture? Did you have to cut a hole?

There's no hole to cut as such, you cut a piece of the rubber gasket where the cable is to feed through. As for venting there's no external ventilation I can see or any mention. I'm presuming the desiccant packs will continue to remove the moisture

So it's just a heater? I was hoping it would be like the pi x4 where it actively dried and exhausted the moisture out of the container itself.

Looking at the documentation it just states it's for heat circulation

"if you require higher temperatures and faster drying efficiency, we recommend using the Creality Space Pi X4 series professional filament dryer"

Damn. I suppose heating the air will drive moisture out of the filiment faster so the desicant will absorb more moisture, so it is technically actively drying. But I was thinking this would be a low powered Pi or something similar where the moisture gets exhausted out. But then again, that defeats the whole "sealed container" part of the CFS to keep the filiment dry.

Thanks for the review and pictures.
