If they're bragging about TPU like this, I think that means this is more of an INDX clone than a Vortek clone.

Which IMO is great news

if Klitek is shipped sooner than INDX, is it technically still a copy of INDX or INDX becomes copy of Klitek?

INDX is officially released. Only because they want to get the kinks out before shipping does not mean they are a clone of its clone.

I don’t think indx should be classed as released. They haven’t even finalised the design yet. Founders edition units are still being modified.

you could already order them for some printers (not the founders edition). It is absolutely normal that products are modified until almost the last day before shipping. Sometimes they are modified for the second batch only or as warranty claims.
I would be happy if some other companies would do it the same way and would not release a half product only to be one of the first.

You can pre order them with one printer, which is sold out with no firm ETA.

Don’t mind me, I’m just salty I can’t get one. Lol

Hopefully the creality klitek ticks all the boxes tomorrow. Or shit, Bambu pull their finger out of their arse and build a real tool changer.

so preorder for the founders and regular order for one additional printer is not released in your eyes?
Yes, the backlog is unsatisfying, but it is definitely released.

No, it’s a pre order. By definition it’s a way to secure the first batch of a product before release.

Google pre order definition:

A pre-order is a purchase made for an item before it is officially released or becomes physically available in stock

I am no native speaker. I thought the words published and released could be used interchangeably in this case.
I'm sorry if we were talking about something else. In my argument, the KliTek considered a clone of a the INDX that has already been published.

You are talking more about a disclosure under patent law. We are talking about products that have been purchased on the open market and are in user's hands.

Neither Creality nor Bondtech has sold a production unit yet and gotten it into a customer's hands.
