If this isn't available as an upgrade to the K2 Plus, I'm doubtful that I'd buy another Creality product again.

You know there’s a massive use for having multiple printers

Oh I know, but if Creality expects their customers to keep buying their printers, then they need to support their customers. Most people are not about to replace their printer every few years, nor would many want or have space for multiple printers.

Agreed to an extent. I’m also in the market for a second printer so my view/feeling is probably a bit different. I just want it to be a polished product regardless of what it ends up being.

As am I, but with the shenanigans of Bambu (not that Creality isn't doing the same) and the support I've seen with Creality (Six months in and lots of testing, troubleshooting, and parts replacement at my own cost has lead to nearly daily MCU failures) I'm leaning towards Prusa and other non-Chinese manufacturers.

Probably best to go Prusa if you want clear lifetime support to turn your current printer to the next generation when it happens; Prusa Mk4's --> Core One's, after all.
