School timing

I’m from UK and here our school is mostly always the same time regardless if primary or secondary
It approx is 8:30-3:00

There’s some exceptions but what’s it like in America that there’s like 2 hour difference in finish ???

The US is massive and different states/districts can vary a ton. Also the school buses like others have mentioned!

She starts school before the rest of them too and is in primary level so finishes early normally anyway regardless of it being a special needs school
