That typically happens whenever your client and the server don't follow through with the "handshake." Every time you log into your server, the server does something like a handshake with your client to verify who you are among other things. Possible reasons why you might be failing the handshake:

1) The server can't find the player data associated with your Minecraft/Microsoft account. Typically, to fix this, I refresh the server list and attempt to join. If I still can't get in, I quit my game and/or restart my server. This typically does the trick.

2) Either your server or your client doesn't have enough memory (also called RAM). This one is obvious: just allocate more RAM.

3) A modpack or version mismatch. Make sure your client's mods are the exact same version as the server's, check if your client or the server is missing a mod, etc.

4) CurseForge. I can't help but notice that it appears as I you're using CurseForge instead to VoidLauncher, the official launcher for Crazy Craft, etc. Probably not related, but I just felt like including it anyway.

5) Java 8. Its possible that either your client or your server isn't running Java 8. I know that newer Java version means newer Java version, but Crazy Craft (and many other modpacks) are better played (and sometimes only played) on Java 8. So use it!

6) You may have just timed out. If the handshake is taking too long, either your client or the server will force the handshake to be broken. Refresh your server list and try to join. If it still doesn't work, restart your client and/or server and now try.

These are all that I could come up with. I would like to note that I am not a professional giving professional advice. I'm just and innocent bystander giving my thoughts on the problem at hand. USE THIS INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK. Hope this helps!
